Booking Terms and Conditions:
Required deposits/payments must be up to date at all times to maintain group requests/cabins. Requests/cabins which do not have the required deposit/payment will be automatically cancelled. Carnival reserves the right to recall all or part of a groups unsold space. On occasion, fully deposited space without names is also subject to recall.
Groups of a certain size may be subject to different terms and conditions - please consult the Charters, Meetings & Incentive dept.
Reviews:
The Sailing Support Department may contact the group organizer as needed to review the groups progress. Your cooperation is requested in providing a timely response. Carnival reserves the right to recall all or part of a groups unsold space. On occasion, fully deposited space without names is also subject torecall.
Guest Changes:
Name changes or additions are allowed at Carnival Cruise Line discretion. Name changes are subject to cancellation charges and any rate increases. There is a service fee for any correction involving names, and for any changes to departure cities on Fly-Aweigh guests, and/or for any changes made on pre or post cruise packages within 60 days of sailing. For such late changes, supplement charges may also apply.
Amenity Points:
Flexi-pricing is contingent on the group finalizing with a minimum of 5 qualifying staterooms. Rates will be adjusted accordingly if group minimum is not met.
Medical or Physical Requirements:
The Group Organizer warrants that he and those traveling with him are physically and emotionally fit to travel at the time of embarkation. Any Guest with special medical, physical or other needs requiring medical attention or special accommodation during the voyage is requested to contact Carnival's Special Needs Desk at specialneeds@carnival.com or by calling 305-599-2600 ext 70025, to discuss the details of their special needs. Carnival recommends that any Guest who is not self-sufficient travel with a companion who shall take responsibility for any assistance needed during the voyage and in case of emergency.
Dining Preference:
Dinner in the Main Dining room is served in two sittings: Early (6:00 PM) or Late (8:15 PM). Dining assignment is confirmed when names and full deposits are provided. If your preference is not available, you may be waitlisted and an automatic email notification will be sent if clearance occurs. Due to limited number of large table availability, parties greater than 10 guests may need to be accommodated at different tables.
Scope of Contract:
GROUP ORGANIZER, individually and as agent for the groups members, acknowledges this Agreement, as well as the terms and conditions set forth in the cruise ticket contract which governs the group members bookings. A copy of the cruise ticket contract (Cruise Ticket Contract) may be found at https://www.carnival.com/about-carnival/legal-notice/ticket-contract.aspx and is incorporated into this agreement for all purposes. GROUP ORGANIZER certifies to be an adult with full legal authority to enter into this Agreement and to act as the representative and agent of each group member.
Carnival shall issue the Ticket to all group members boarding the Vessel and the terms and conditions of the Cruise Ticket Contract shall constitute the sole contract of passage between all such passengers and Carnival. GROUP ORGANIZER agrees that it shall not make any representations, covenant or warranty, whether oral or written, which may be inconsistent with the terms and conditions of the Cruise Ticket Contract. It is understood and agreed that the Cruise Ticket Contract shall be valid only for the person named on the form thereof for whom it is issued and cannot be transferred without Carnivals written consent. The terms and conditions set forth in the Carnival Cruise Ticket Contract, as well as the policies and procedures provided on board, published on Carnivals websites and/or brochures are binding and incorporated herein byreference.
Failure of any party to insist upon strict compliance or performance with any of the provisions hereof upon any one or more occasions shall operate as a waiver of compliance or performance in any other instance. No course of dealing between the parties shall operate as a waiver of any right of the parties, and no delay on the part of any party in exercising any right hereunder shall operate as a waiver of any right of the parties. In the event any provisions contained in this Agreement is for any reason held to be unenforceable in any respect, such unenforceability shall not affect any other provisions of this Agreement and the Agreement shall be then construed as if such an unenforceable provision or provisions had never been included in this Agreement.
Neither party may assign this Agreement without the express written consent of the other party. In the event any action be instituted by a party to enforce any of the terms and provisions contained herein, the prevailing party in such action shall be entitled to such reasonable attorneys fees, costs, and expenses as may be fixed by the court.
This Agreement constitutes the entire Agreement between Carnival and the group and it’s Group Organizer. This Agreement may not be changed orally, nor may it be waived, modified, enlarged or varied in any manner, nor may it be abrogated or discharged; any alteration to any of the term of this Agreement must be in writing, authorized by Carnival, and signed by the party to be charged therewith.
Travel Documents:
U.S. citizens taking a "closed-loop" cruises (sailings that both originate and terminate in the same U.S. port) are not required to have a passport, but will need proof of citizenship such as an original or certified copy of a birth certificate, a certificate of naturalization, a passport card, an enhanced driver's license (EDL) as well as a government-issued photo ID. Children are also required to bring proof of citizenship and if 16 and over a photo ID is also required. If a cruise begins and ends in different U.S. ports or begins and ends in a foreign port, a valid passport or other WHTI- compliant document is required. A valid passport is required if you are traveling on any of our Europe cruises. All other non US citizens must have a passport for air, land and sea travel. Minors Groups:
Guests under the age of 21 must travel with a relative or guardian of 25 years of age or older. Parent or guardian assumes responsibility for any minors they are traveling with and, may not under any circumstances, purchase alcoholic beverages for any guest under the age of 21. Must have a chaperone for every 8 minors. Guests 12 and younger: may travel in separate staterooms. However, minors must either be directly across the hall or next door. Minors may not be assigned to a balcony cabin without a relative/guardian. Guests 13 - 17 years of age: can be booked up to 3 staterooms away from their accompanying adult. Guests 18 - 20 years of age: do not have any restrictions and may book whatever location they prefer. Prepaid gratuities and/or damage deposits of $100 USD per minor guest may be required for minor groups of 8 cabins or more.
Marketing and Group Rates:
Carnival is committed to providing fun and memorable vacation experiences in an environment that is family friendly. We are pleased to welcome groups whose activities do not interfere with non-group members enjoyment of the cruise as we are committed to ensuring all our guests have an equally enjoyable time. Limited lounge space is available during select hours for private group events and the ships regular programming and activities will not be displaced to accommodate private group events. Deck space cannot be reserved for any type of group activity. Solicitation of any kind, pre-cruise or onboard, to non-group guests is strictly prohibited.
It is important to protect our brand in booking, marketing and in the use of public spaces on board our ships for properly sanctioned activities that are consistent with the Carnival brand. The groups marketing, message and activities should promote a positive brand image and not behavior that is inappropriate or detrimental such as excessive drinking, rowdiness, lewdness or any illegal activities. This applies, and is not limited to, print, media, interactive, web and press releases that uses Carnivals name, ship names, logos or other trademarks. Similarly, group activities, and messages must be consistent with the Carnival image. Based thereon, marketing, activities and the groups message that we, in our sole discretion deem unacceptable may result in denial of booking, cancellation of the group or charter, cancellation of unsold cabins or discontinuation of further sales. Carnivals cancellation policy shall be applicable to any cancelled bookings. We will also not be liable for any costs or losses, including marketing costs or commissions for agent/promoter, as a result of the cancellation, denial of booking, discontinuance of improper marketing or other action taken under this policy.
Additionally, we reserve the right to deny and cancel groups who have a history of inappropriate behavior on board regardless of size. In the event of such action, Carnivals cancellation policy will apply and Carnival will not be liable for any costs or losses resulting from cancellation, suspension or denial of booking or suspension or changes to marketing. Carnival is further not responsible for any damages, including consequential damages that may result from the discontinuation of marketing of a cruise, cancellation or cut off of sales of a particular group booking or charter.
Group pricing for individual tickets is responsibility of the group organizer. Tickets will not display pricing but rather will state AS AGREED. It is the group organizers responsibility to appropriately price and fully communicate the pricing to the groups members. Group rates may not be displayed on the internet, in newspapers, on radio, or TV but may be displayed through direct mail, targeted Email, or flyers. Group departures and rates may be marketed on a specific organizations private website or through on organizations newsletter. Radio and TV may be used only to market to specific interest groups or to market theme sailings.
Published Fares:
Carnival reserves the right to increase published fares and air fare supplements without prior notice. In the event that a cruise fare listed, quoted or advertised through any website, Carnivals sales person, travel agent or any other source is booked, but is incorrect due to an electronic error, typographical error, human error or any other error causing the fare to be listed, quoted or advertised for an amount not intended by Carnival, Carnival reserves the right to correct the erroneous fare by requesting the Guest pay the correct fare intended, or by canceling the cruise. Incorporation by Reference:
Terms and conditions set forth in Carnival Cruise Lines ticket contract of passage and as stated in the General Information section of Carnivals current brochure are incorporated herein by reference.
Guest Information:
We will require the guests full legal name, gender, date of birth and guest contact phone numbers with full per person deposit. For your convenience, you are able to manage your group cabins online by using GoCCL.com.
Restricted Air Program
Full payment for air is due once your schedule has been confirmed. Tickets are nonrefundable. Any changes to your cruise booking which impacts your air itinerary will result in the cancellation of your air booking. Tickets are nontransferable and names changes are not allowed.
